ALAN Selects MindShare Strategies as Agency of Record
Minneapolis, Aug. 13, 2009 – American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) has selected MindShare Strategies Inc. as agency of record to lead its marketing and communications efforts. MindShare Strategies will play a key role in raising awareness of ALAN, a non-profit organization which focuses on bringing together the supply chain community to support humanitarian relief efforts.
“ALAN’s effectiveness as an organization is directly correlated to our ability to communicate in an efficient and engaging way – bringing together our network of member associations, volunteers, donors, relief agencies and other key stakeholders,” said Jock Menzies, Chairman of The Terminal Corporation and ALAN president. “Strategic, integrated marketing and communications initiatives are an important part of that process. MindShare possesses in-depth knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry along with their marketing and communications expertise. They will be an integral part of our team.”
“It’s rewarding to be a part of such a worthwhile organization,” said Brian Everett, senior partner of MindShare Strategies. “ALAN has the ability to make a huge impact in a time of crisis. We have a powerful story to tell about our industry and its commitment to helping others in need. By joining forces, we can share that story and help to build momentum for ALAN’s relief efforts.”
