Saddle Creek Tops Industry 3PL Lists

Lakeland, Fla., Aug. 16, 2010 — Key industry publications continue to take note of Saddle Creek. The third-party logistics company once again has been named an industry leader by SupplyChainBrain, Inbound Logistics, and Food Logistics on their latest lists of top 3PLs.

Saddle Creek was selected from more than 600 companies nominated for SupplyChainBrain's 2010 100 Great Supply Chain Partners Program. The list recognizes providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their customers' efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance. As one customer nomination stated, "Saddle Creek does it better than most."

Saddle Creek also has been recognized as an Inbound Logistics Top 100 3PL – for the 12th consecutive year. "Recent economic times have forced companies to deal with product scalability, demand volatility, access to capacity, and matching inventory more tightly to demand. Saddle Creek Corporation qualifies as an Inbound Logistics 2010 Top 100 3PL Provider because it has shown consistent results in helping customers navigate stormy economic times," said Inbound Logistics Editor Felecia Stratton.

In its 2010 Top 85 3PLs, Food Logistics magazine lists third-party logistics providers that are helping food, beverage and CPG companies optimize their warehousing and transportation operations. The publication recognized Saddle Creek as one of 85 third-party logistics providers with "a broad scope of services and capabilities that enable food companies to reduce costs, increase flexibility and improve service levels," according to Katherine Doherty, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics magazine. Saddle Creek has been featured on the list since it was first established in 2006.

"At Saddle Creek, we pride ourselves on our consistently excellent execution – meeting or exceeding our commitments and service level expectations – regardless of the economic landscape," said Cliff Otto, Saddle Creek president. "We're grateful to our customers who have acknowledged our efforts in this area by nominating us for these awards."
