Saddle Creek Names Directors of Business Development
Lakeland, Fla., April 22, 2008 —Saddle Creek Corporation, a third-party logistics services company, has named two new directors of business development: Letitia Strowbridge and Jeff Alexander.
In their new roles, Strowbridge and Alexander will oversee the development of new customer relationships and maintain organic growth within existing accounts nationwide. Strowbridge will be based at Saddle Creek’s Atlanta operation while Alexander will be based in Wisconsin.
“These individuals understand our solution-focused approach to business and embrace our Whatever It Takes corporate philosophy,” said Stephen Cook, vice president of marketing and business development at Saddle Creek Corp. “They will be adept at integrating our core logistics services in ways that provide value for our customers. Their extensive contract packaging experience, in particular, will be a valuable asset as we grow that sector of our business and enter new vertical markets.”
Prior to joining Saddle Creek, Strowbridge was sales and marketing consultant for The Coalescent Group in Atlanta. Previously, she served as business development director at Onyx Capital Ventures and held quality management positions with In-Zone Brands, Chep and Nabisco. She has more than 16 years of experience in contract and secondary packaging. Strowbridge holds an MBA from Troy State University.
Alexander has nearly 20 years of experience in sales and marketing with extensive experience in managing complex packaging projects in a temperature-controlled environment. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for Atlas Cold Storage LLC, a subsidiary of Eimskip. Alexander holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina
