Saddle Creek Stays at Top of 3PLs list
Lakeland, Fla., August 9, 2007 — Saddle Creek Corporation has staying power in the third-party logistics industry. For the ninth consecutive year, Inbound Logistics magazine has recognized Saddle Creek Corporation in its annual "Top 100 3PLs" list. The nationwide third-party logistics company was selected based on leadership, reliability, ROI and efficient implementation.
Inbound Logistics editors whittled this year's list of industry leaders from more than 400 companies through a comprehensive process of evaluating questionnaires, conducting research, and soliciting reader feedback.
"How a logistics partner enables growth and/or innovation for its customers is one key criteria Inbound Logistics editors look for when choosing a Top 100 3PL," said Inbound Logistics editor Felecia Stratton. "It is easier for a 3PL to benchmark direct savings for customers as a result of optimizing a transport network, or reducing an inventory-to-sales ratio. But it is just as important, in some cases more important, for a logistics partner to act as a business change agent, driving their customers' ability to grow, innovate, and compete. That is what Saddle Creek does, and why we are happy to recognize it as a 2007 Top 100 3PL."
Saddle Creek provides a comprehensive range of services nationwide, including warehousing, transportation, packaging and integrated logistics services. "What sets us apart as a company is our commitment to service and creating value for our customers - doing whatever it takes," said Cliff Otto, president of Saddle Creek Corp. "We measure our success by the performance, quality and value we provide our customers. It is rewarding to see our efforts honored by awards such as this which recognize the competitive edge we offer our customers."
